Ready-to-use Waterbase inks require no preparation or additives prior to use. They provide a softer hand and a softer impact on the environment. Today’s Waterbase inks are more Eco-friendly, they clean up quick and easy with water or a mild bio-degradable Ink Wash.

Waterbase Metallic Silver Base & Colors
Waterbase Metallic colors - Our waterbase Metallic colors are bright and softer than the plastisol metallic inks. The Metallic Silver can be used as a stand alone product or as a mixing base that can be combined with our Waterbase Pigment Concentrates to create beautiful custom colors.
Waterbase Metallic can printed on cotton, poly/cotton blends, with screen mesh up to 86-156ct t/in.

Waterbase Clear Base is a clear binder base designed for printing on white and light colored fabrics. Waterbase inks are recommended for 100% Cotton Light color garments only.

Waterbase inks produce an ultra soft hand on textiles.

Waterbase Concentrated Pigments can mixed with Waterbase, Discharge & Specialty Bases to create your color and effects. Simply add WB Concentrated Pigments to Base at +10% ratio by weight. Max. 20% by weight.

Waterbase Retarder: Add 5-10% to slow down drying time your waterbase
Waterbase Thickener: Add 5% to thicken waterbase inks
Waterbase Low Crock: Add 10-15% to increase wash-fastness durability

   Waterbase Discharge Clear Base (Requires Activator powder)

Matsui Discharge Base
All the components are liquid with the exception of the Discharge Agent, which is a crystallized powder. Using a stainless metal spatula mix the Discharge Base and Pigment concentrates first and add the activator last. Continue to homogenize until all of the components are thoroughly blended, when mixing larger quantities we recommend to homogenize with a high-speed mixer.
Recommended Substrates: 100% Cotton fabrics (Treated with dis-chargeable dyes) (NOT RECOMMENDED for Polyester blends)
Mesh: 90-195ct (34-77 t/cm) for best discharge outcome
Flash Temp: N/A - Curing Temp: 300°F for 2-3 min.
(Waterbase inks require longer exposure to heat to completely evaporate the water content, a dryer with a re-circulation blower would be more efficient)
Stencil: Textil DW, QT-Discharge or Graphic HU - Dual Cure Emulsions
Fixer 9 Stencil Hardener is recommended for larger production with Discharge inks.
Storage: Unlike Plastisol inks, Waterbase inks require a properly closed lid when they’re not in use.

Never activate more than will be used within a few hours. Products must be kept in proper storage in a dry, cool environment.
** It is the responsibility of the printer to test and determine suitability of all products before a production run.

Additives/Modifiers: Low Crock Fixer can be added to improve wash fastness.
Drying: 300 F for 2.5 - 3 minutes (make sure all moisture is evaporated to insure ink cures)
FINISHING: It is highly recommended to wash and dry garments or fabrics before packaging and shipping.
Wash up: Use water or Bio-1 Ink wash in reclaim tank, to clean on Press use AlbaChem Waterbase Screen Opener.
